Step into the Cava at Copper & Stone for tastings of familiar favorites and hidden gems
The Cava at Copper & Stone is one of the premier wine caves in the country. With a climate-controlled, state-of-the-art wine storage, the Cava features a curated selection of wines and spirits imported from a number of different countries, producers, and styles.
Familiar favorites, small-batch classics, and some hidden gems are all there to be discovered in this diverse collection of varietals and vintages.
Demian Geneau, Copper & Stone’s General Manager, explains that there were a few key principles to selecting the wines for the Cava. Ultimately however, selecting the specific vintages and labels was a bit of an art. The main guiding principle for the core selection is to cover offerings from a number of different countries, a well rounded range in price, as well as a complete selection of varietals and vintages. The goal with these core offerings is to be familiar and welcoming, but still thoughtful and surprising, so there’s something for everyone.
Above the core offering, the unique tastes of the Copper and Stone team wield unique and storied selections. The team aims to collect wines that might have missed the public eye or been overlooked and always make sure to keep an eye out for notable bottles during their travels. The creative collection complements the more familiar selections in the Cava and ensures that there’s always an element of discovery and intrigue in a visit to Copper & Stone.
One way to explore the selection is through the Cava’s seven different wine tasting experiences, which offer the chance to sample some of the world’s most iconic wines under the guidance of a Sommelier. Alternatively, choose your vintages in a Client’s Pick setting.
This is an opportunity for the owners of Copper & Stone to share their weekly favorites. The selection includes a flight of 4 wines, selected weekly to keep fresh, and interesting options in the rotation. In addition, participants enjoy a delicious cheese & charcuterie platter.
